Terms and Conditions
YOUR HOLIDAY BOOKING CONDITIONS
Please read the following conditions carefully:
Bookings: All bookings are arranged for the dates shown on your e-mail / letter and are made in good faith by us. However, we cannot be held responsible for the actions taken by the owner of the property, e.g. sale of property, increased tariff, alteration of the property, withdrawal of property from letting or cancellations of booking. Every endeavour to find alternative accommodation shall be made by us.
A booking is NOT confirmed until a deposit has been paid and the booking conditions and security deposit authority (signed by you) is received by us. The balance of rent is due & payable prior to occupancy. Please note all bookings will incur a $45 booking fee per property. Any bookings cancelled will not receive a booking fee refund.
A “Security Deposit Authority” is required on all bookings. An authority with a valid credit card number must be signed, this is held in a secure file and is only used for the reasons shown on the authority. Unfortunately we are unable to hand out keys without this completed form.
Occupants: The property is rented to accommodate only the number of persons described by Elders Yamba.
A $50.00 charge will apply where spare keys have to be made available after hours.
Re-booking: Due to high demand for bookings, all re-bookings must be made prior to departure to avoid disappointment.
Deposits: A deposit equal to 50% of the total tariff is due within 7 days from the date of booking unless otherwise stated. For all Christmas Holiday bookings a deposit equal to 1 week’s tariff is required. All deposits paid are credited towards your total tariff.
Cancellations: All cancellations will incur a $100.00 cancellation fee & $45 booking fee. If your booking is cancelled 2 months or more prior to your arrival date your deposit will be refunded less the cancellation fee & booking fee. If you cancel your booking within 2 months of your arrival date any refund is subject to us rebooking the property for the same time as your booking. In the event that we are instructed by the owner to cancel your booking a full refund will be made to you.
Arrival & Departure: The property is available from 2 pm (NSW time) on the day of arrival and must be vacated no later than 10 am (NSW time) on the day of departure. Failure to vacate by the required time will incur a penalty of $50. Keys are to be returned to the Agent immediately upon vacating the property.
Cleaning: We ask for your co-operation with respect paid to the property, that you agree to leave the property in a clean and tidy state using the equipment provided, including washing up done and stacked away. If the property is left in an unsatisfactory condition any costs for cleaning above the standard items will incur an excess cleaning charge. Please ensure all garbage is wrapped and removed from the property and placed in the appropriate garbage bins provided. Fish must not be cleaned in or on the property. Any damage to the property, breakages, and lost keys are to be reported and paid for by you.
Pets: All pets and animals are strictly forbidden in or around the property, with the exception of Beach Break, Beachdrift, 2/2a Link St, Ripple Cove, Palm Cove & Oceania where an outside dog is permitted. Guests are responsible for the removal of all droppings, bones and for the filling of holes dug by the dog/s otherwise a charge may apply.
Furnishings: The property is fully furnished including kitchen facilities. However, you will need to bring your own sheets, pillowcases, towels, tea towels, bath mats and teatowels/handtowels (excluding Belvedere, Gaze, Mingara 4, Sandrift, Shadows, White Sails, Baan Sabai, and Breakers 2/8,). Other things you will need to bring are soaps, dish washing liquid, toilet paper, beach towels etc. Linen hire is available through The Laundry Yamba (02) 6646 1571.
Personal Property: No responsibility is accepted by Elders Yamba or the owner for any personal property left in or around the property.
Property Access: You agree to allow Elders Yamba or our nominee’s to enter the property to arrange any necessary repairs. In the event of the property being offered for sale, inspections with prospective purchasers may be necessary during reasonable hours by appointment.
Any printed, written or verbal description of the property and facilities is given in good faith and no responsibility for misinterpretation will be accepted. You accept the property as booked and you cannot be relocated.
Your occupation or use of the property which (in our absolute discretion) causes nuisance or annoyance to adjoining or neighbouring occupiers will be terminated immediately.
